Sweet and Lovely Vintage Style
Sometimes I wonder if I was born in the wrong era! I was born in the 1980s, grew up in the 1990s but I am absolutely smitten by the romantic hats, coordinating cardigans, swing A-line dresses and chic hats that span the 1920s through 1950s. Do you relish styles from a certain decade/era?
I purchased this hat from a little boutique for my vintage hat collection circa 2005. It’s a Dascher c1940s hat original. I was gleaming with joy when I found it in perfect piece. I had no idea when I would have the opportunity to wear it.
If I’m being honest, it had been sitting in a hat box waiting for the opportune time to pull it out. The rise of influencer marketing has breathed fresh air in the romanticism of fashion and style from the early to mid 1900s. With popular mega influencers highlighting and retelling the story of these beautiful vintage designs, the revival and love for romantic feminine fashion is nothing short of sweet and lovely.
