Glow from the inside out

When I was in College, my skin reflected the intense stress and fatigue of working full time whilst in school full time. Thinking back to those 4.5 years, I don’t know how I did it. I wasn’t eating a balance diet nor drinking water — an essential part of aiding digestion and flushing toxins from the body. Water was secondary to coffee and sleep happened in 3 hour stints, if at all.

My skin’s health was the last thing on my mind. My daily routine looked something like this: up at 5a, in school 8am -1pm (breakfast: venti white chocolate mocha extra pumps of sugar with toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese), work 2 -9pm (lunch usually consisted of a cost effective option: pizza, Mcdonalds or Chinese. By my sophomore year of college, I was suffering from cystic acne and blackheads.

I tried a slew of harsh skin care products and concealers, which without fail, would temporarily fix the problem. My skin didn't start to show improvement until I started to care for myself on the inside. I started to drink water, eat a balance diet, get adequate sleep and reduce stressors. Now that I am 40, I integrate natural products coupled with other reputable brands to keep my skin healthy and youthful. My skin has never looked or felt better.
